Mobile Mudding

If anyone knows of a mobile phone mudding program I'd love to have it. I have a verizon xv6700 running windows mobile 5.0 at 416 MHz with 64 MB of ram.

I'm also quite interested in such a solution. My device is a Nokia E60 series running the symbian OS!

Theres a program in the catalog for Sidekicks called "Terminal Monkey". I heard its basically a telnet app for mobiles on crack. I am not sure what providers or other phones it is available for.

Re: Mobile Mudding

I've used both PocketPuTTY and PockeTTY for mudding. They're both attempts at a Windows Mobile clone of PuTTY. Those programs are much more effective when connecting to, for instance, a Linux server with mudding tools installed. In a pinch, though, a direct mud connection would be bearable. I guess when you're mudding from a phone, you accept a certain lack of amenities in advance :P.

Re: Mobile Mudding

does mudconnector have a telnet java client? and I wonder if it has a tool bar or chat window at the bottom so it doesn't get messed up with the output from the mud.

I use this on my Samsung Sidekick. Works fine once you get the line feed/carriage return codes set correctly.

It's free.

Started using this on my Samsung i-760 today. It not only works, it's very nice for a mobile phone app.

Neat. I have yet to find a good client however I can connect on my iphone using the terminal 'telnet' command which blows.

I am using MidpSSH on my blackberry. It seems to support a decent number of devices: http://xk72.com/midpssh/wiki/supported-devices

Re: Mobile Mudding

They just released the SDK for the iPhone, expect a ton of applications to start appearing for it, or code your own, hehe
