You begin to s-l-o-w-l-y move down.
Well, that's how it should be. But if you do "use combat awareness at anythingatall", you only move slowly the first time you move, and at normal speed after, while retaining the heightened awareness.

This is proving to be a difficult bug to tackle because of the way it's handled. I'll keep working on it tomorrow night, but for now it's still unfixed. Sorry.
