DarkeMUD Website

Have a simple Joomla web site up in raw raw format.

but this is the http;//www.darkemud.com/joomla just do a simple register and test it out. it is a portal for darkemud and creating more player content for the mud and others that would be interested.

but the old static page is quite old and really needs a new face. and dealing with raw html can get old. and this would be the first step to going to a dynamic web managed system.

anyway please let me know.

Re: DarkeMUD Website

For those of you not familiar with Joomla, it is a content management system.

It would allow us to change the look whenever we wanted without having to recode the content.

It would also allow us to let visitors (you guys) have posting priveladges in whatever area we needed.

It also has a lot of nice add-ons that support community features.

http://www.joomla.org is the base page if you want to look at more and suggest enhancements you would like to see added from there (preferably the free add-ons <grin>)

Though it seems it still activated.

Oh, and gmail tagged the activation email as spam too, if anybody else is trying this out and think they aren't getting the activation.

Had the same troubles as Kim posted, but it still worked. Now that I'm registered, is there anything I should be doing there?
