It would be tough to make it non-abusable. Perhaps something like.. you type in 'lost' and then if you don't move or enter combat for 10 minutes it will trans you to TS or something like that. For when people are truly lost on the map or a bug makes them stuck. If it takes 10 minutes it would be much harder to abuse.
Talking about crap like bugs and commands in the IC room is decidedly retarded. Read the name of the forum before you post crap in it. Drey, you sir, suck fat nut in this department.

Silly as it may be, the forum's description is "In character chats". I've got nothing against removing the forum entirely, but it'd be just as stupid to put a topic for the web forums in the "News from the Site Admin" forum, wouldn't you say?

Meh. I could structure it as IC.

"Perhaps the gods would grant us the ability to be able to help the eternally lost, be they lost by magical error or incompetence".

But the idea of an IC board is worst than the idea of an IC channel.

I don't think it's that bad. Daggers holding tattered pages to boards, official announcements with wax seals pegged, sketched wanted posters... I think it's a poor idea to try and use an IC board as a way to actively participate in IC interactions though.

If thats the case, then the tinker and enchanter work books need to be removed.

The tinker and enchanter workbooks are IC boards on the mud. I think Drey was referring to the idea that an IC board on the web is dumb, since you can post eternally on an IC board on the web without ever once logging in.

The workbooks are fine, even if they go completely ignored, because people have to be standing at them to write in them, essentially.
