The problem is that Magic guilds have lack of MPs to cycle their spells. Lot of spells cost 600-1000+ MPs to cast, so, you cast a few and should wait forever at healer til points back.

Help files said that MPs and regen depends on these stas:
Willpower
Wisdom
Intillegence

I had a chance to compare mana regeneration for 2 characters.

1. guild: Elementalist
race: Mathere
wil: 80
wis: 104
int: 104
levels: C 28 / M 31

regen rate when Blob/Glutton = 60-65 mps. (89 old style)
total MPs: 3162 (approximatelly)

2. guild: Sword-Mage
race: Wood-elf
wil: 80
wis: 57
int: 104
levels: C 37 / M 34

regen rate when Blob/Glutton = 51-56 mps. (92 old style)
total MPs: 3082

Are those values looking correct for new formula?

In my opinion, elementalist regen rate should be about:

elemRate = smRate * ( 104 / 57 ) * ( 31 / 34 ) = 89.83

So, about 87-92. Such rate should be fair enough.

Now such Elementalist could cast 3 G-storms and stick on healer for 50 * 7 rounds = 700 seconds, over 11 mins of real time, and cycle period is 20 mins. Guess, something wrong with new formula.

At least, I would to know what was a reason to drop MPs regen so much?
