The Mathere are a sea-faring race of people. Highly dextrous
and quick minded, they have been sailing the seas of the world of centuries.
Some say they search for their homeland which was destroyed in the Great
Cataclysm which tore the Shadowlands asunder.The Mathere society is very
complex and matriarcal. All of the ships of Mathere are 'male' and captained
by a female Sea Mistress.
